by Rainier on Jan. 22, 2007 @ 5:57 a.m. PST

Left Behind: Eternal Forces will put players in command of the apocalyptic battles raging in the streets of New York City between the angelic Tribulation Forces and the demonic Global Community Peacekeepers during the End of Days. Gamers will participate in events from the Left Behind book series in single player mode and battle to capture territory from other players in the multi-player online game mode.

"We are giving gamers and LEFT BEHIND fans the best game experience possible, and our regular game updates represent our commitment to build customer and brand loyalty," states Left Behind Games CEO Troy Lyndon.

New multiplayer enhancements include expanded statistics, gold and silver key auto-matchups, buddy requests, chat-safe language filtering and extensive multiplayer client features and server support.

Building upon previous enhancements, this new version 1.05 of LEFT BEHIND: Eternal Forces, the PC game, has simplified recruiting and improved path finding for neutral units. Also, helpful new building icons have been implemented for easier building recognition. Additional enhancements include graphic updates to menus, play balancing and mission improvements.

LEFT BEHIND: Eternal Forces, a PC game, is now available at major retailers and inspirational bookstores. Players will play in an apocalyptic world in the ultimate battle of good versus evil. The game's storyline is based on the world of the best-selling "Left Behind" book series
