NCAA March Madness 07 debuts on the Xbox 360 by delivering a strategic basketball gameplay experience and next generation feature set that captures the intensity and atmosphere that characterizes college basketball. Never before have home court and the home crowd meant more as your players either rise to the occasion or wilt under the pressure of charged-up, authentic college courts. Feel the intensity rise, then watch as each player responds differently, trying to maintain composure. As the atmosphere heats up your player composure ratings affect the all-new Intensity Control that changes momentum by allowing you to pump up the crowd, motivate your teammates, raise your own composure or even intimidate your opponent. Plus, become immersed like never before by interacting with student sections, school mascots, cheerleaders, and even the band.

Beyond the atmosphere, NCAA March Madness 07 delivers an authentic college basketball gameplay experience by offering custom playbooks for each team through the Floor General Playcalling system, the EA SPORTS Lockdown Stick that allows your players to pressure the ball, force turnovers and harass opponents on the court, and an enhanced Dynasty Mode™ with new School Pride and Recruiting features that let you build your school into a national powerhouse. In addition, the popular voices of college basketball are back with ESPN’s Dick Vitale and Brad Nessler calling the action courtside.

With the most advanced ESPN integration package available in NCAA March Madness 07, fans connected online via Xbox LIVE will be able to watch college basketball game highlights, segments from Pardon the Interruption and Around the Horn, interviews and analysis from SportsCenter, and more. Fans will also be able to download and listen to ESPN radio podcasts as they play NCAA March Madness 07, including segments from Dan Patrick, Mike & Mike, Stephen A. Smith and others. All this is in addition to live ESPN Radio SportsCenter updates every 20 minutes, the ESPN Ticker and ESPNews.

With that in mind, here are the Top 10 toughest places to play in NCAA March Madness 07.

1. Cameron Indoor (Duke)

Cameron Indoor Stadium has a capacity of a little more than 9,300 but the intense atmosphere created by an active student body more than makes up for its lack of numbers. Originally built in 1940, Cameron Indoor is one of the oldest basketball stadiums in the country. The student section surrounds the court and there isn't a place more hostile in the country. It's always tough for any team to go in and get a win. When playing March Madness 07 at Cameron Indoor watch how you use your freshman. Their composure ratings take a hit from the opening tip and the game can slip away really quickly if you are not careful. Be wary of the fanatical fans as they are quick to key in on any player with or without provocation.

2. Allen Fieldhouse (Kansas)

Allen Field house opened in 1955 and is named after "Phog" Allen, one of Kansas’ greatest basketball coaches. Allen Fieldhouse has a capacity of over 16,300 with student sections located along both baselines. One of the strangest traditions in college basketball is the "Rock Chalk Jaywalk" Chant. Sixteen thousand people chanting like Monks when the game is out of reach. When you hear that chant in NCAA March Madness 07 - it's over.

3. Assembly Hall – (Illinois)

Assembly Hall is the most underrated venue in college basketball. With a seating capacity of 16,450, Assembly Hall is the third largest basketball arena in the Big Ten. Up until their loss this year against Penn State, Illinois had a two-year, 33-game home winning streak. Their student section is called the Orange Krush and, and in March Madness 07 this student section continually drains your composure with every turnover and missed shot. Good luck trying to pull out a win. You're not due for another 2 years.

4. The Comcast Center (Maryland)

The 17,950-seat Comcast Center is home to some of the most rabid fans in the nation, and Maryland has built it into a hostile environment for opposing teams. The arena seats 4,000 students, located in the first 10 rows around the court and on the west wall, where a 35-degree incline creates a sense of the students looming over the floor. Terrapin fans have come under fire for increasingly profane chants targeted at opposing players and the school is taking measures to address those concerns. In NCAA March Madness 07 Terrapin fans will get on their feet to chant down the opposition with all the authenticity of the real thing -- minus the profanity.

5. The Dean Dome (North Carolina)

The Dean Smith Center has a capacity of over 23,000 seats and is one of the largest on-Campus venues in college hoops. Looking up at all of the retired jerseys and banners are enough to give anyone the chills. And as big as the Dome is, they are still running out of space for banners and honored jerseys. The Carolina blue is a sight to behold. When the camera pans up in March Madness you’ll be able to see all of the jerseys hanging from the rafters, including No. 23.

6. The Carrier Dome (Syracuse)

The Carrier Dome is the largest on-campus basketball arena, with a listed capacity of 33,000, and when the Orange gets on a roll the cheers can be deafening and the atmosphere electric. It's always hard for the opposition to play at a dome because it's a wide open space and in the game the fans will appear like a sea of orange. If Syracuse gets out to a double-digit lead in March Madness 07, then opposition player ratings begin to dip at an accelerated rate.

7. Rupp Arena (Kentucky)

Most of the fans at Rupp Arena sit between the baselines in the hexagon-shaped layout and Wildcat fans are loud and proud. Like most of the venues in the Top 10 list freshman ratings take a dip from the opening tip.

8. The Breslin Center (Michigan State)

The frequently sold-out Breslin Center holds 14,759 fans and the Spartans have continually ranked among the top teams in the nation in attendance. The Izzone student section wraps around the lower bowl, putting them in the thick of the action and helping to spur the Spartans to a .859 home winning percentage. The fans are just as tough in March Madness and can quickly swing momentum in favor of the home team.

9. McKale Center (Arizona)

The McKale Center has a seating capacity of 14,545 but has surpassed that total on a number of occasions. The floor is named the Lute and Bobbi Olson Court and the Wildcats have gone undefeated at home many times since the arena opened in 1973.

10 Gampel Pavilion (UCONN)

The Gampel Pavilion holds just over 10,000 fans but the facility at Storrs’ campus is loud and its fans are fanatical in support of the Huskies, helping the dogs become one of the top programs in the country. Watch and listen to the crowd go pick out opposition players and see how it affects them in March Madness. Fans at the Gumpel Pavilion can be the difference maker!

NCAA March Madness 07, developed at EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C., will be available on the Xbox 360 and the PS2.
