In Namco Bandai's latest installment to the popular RPG Tales franchise, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, players will create a hero to embark on a valiant quest to save the land of Terresia from the gripping force of a powerful evil, set on destruction.

Complete with full character customization, an exceptional battle system, and featuring a cast of intriguing characters both old and new to the series, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is set to bring another quality Tales RPG to the PSP system for the first time.

In line with its Tales predecessors, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology will once again set a new RPG standard with genre defining graphics, an in-depth and completely new storyline, and an innovative free-roaming battle system, all set in a new portable world that allows players to take their new Tales journey with them anytime, anywhere.

Along with the fast-paced battles and riveting story the Tales series is known for, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology also lets players create their own hero. Choose from a host of options, such as voice, hairstyle and class, to start a hero or heroine on their epic journey. Then through your adventures, find, customize, or create hundreds of items to equip in order to make the ideal character, or trade your items using the PSP system wireless functionality. In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, the player’s own creation--the player’s own hero--will embark on an epic quest to save the world.

Along with its riveting RPG game play, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology features the largest collection of both old and new characters to be incorporated into the storyline. Experience the exceptional storyline as beloved Tales characters such as Stahn Aileron from Tales of Destiny, Reid Hershel from Tales of Destiny II, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia and Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss, and many more, join the player in battle and aid them on this new quest. All the new and classic Tales characters come together to weave an extraordinary tale in this groundbreaking addition to the world-renowned Tales series.

“Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is the most in-depth RPG title to date in the Tales series as the player is thrown into an epic journey filled with popular classic characters from previous Tales games and compelling events that unfold in a dramatic fashion,” Makoto Iwai, Senior Vice President and COO, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc said. “From the moment they turn on the game, players will be engaged in the popular free-roaming battle system Tales games are known for and a story that will submerse the player from the first scene to the final battle.”

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology sets players in the mystical world of Terresia. This once peaceful land is turning into a realm of havoc and darkness at the hands of The Devourer, a creature that is destroying all in its path.
