Mr.Bean, who burst onto our television screens in 1990 has established himself as one of the world's most popular character brands. The Live action and Animated Mr Bean TV series have been in distribution around the world for 17 years and are currently broadcast in more than 190 territories. Additionally, Bean – The Ultimate Disaster Movie became one of the largest grossing UK movies with box office receipts in excess of US$255 million worldwide and worldwide DVD and Video sales now number more than 16 million units. A new Mr Bean movie, Mr Bean's Holiday, chosen as the official film for Comic Relief 2007, will be released in cinemas nationwide from 30th March 2007.

Mr.Bean on PlayStation 2 will be made up of 3D levels avoiding tricky traps and problem solving along the way to find his missing Teddy with the help of Bean's girlfriend Irma Gobb. 92% of children under 11 are great Mr.Bean fans and 67% of children under 11 watch the TV series regularly, according to Film Audience Research and the game will be developed to specifically target this younger audience.
