by Rainier on May 21, 2007 @ 5:10 a.m. PDT
Sony Computer Entertainment Korea's website has confirmation of earlier rumors that the PS3 might be getting a bigger harddrive. An FCC filing back in March revealed that Sony was working on an 80GB version, including some tweaks to the Bluetooth feature. SCEK's website has the new version going on sale next month, June 16, for an estimated price of $ 557 / EUR 412. While the North American offices are still closed, Sony Europe said there are no release plans other than Korea.
