Castlevania Movie Finally Gets A Director
by Rainier on June 14, 2007 @ 2:07 a.m. PDT
It's been quiet for a few months surrounding the Castlevania movie, but word has trickled out that Sylvain White, known for Ronin and most recently Stomp the Yard, has been set to direct a live-action adaptation of Konami's vampire videogame Castlevania. Originally scripted by AvP's Paul W.S. Anderson it will get a rewrite by White, and be produced by Crystal Sky's Steven Paul and Benedict Carver, with Anderson and Jeremy Bolt. Scheduled for late 2008, shooting will commence late fall in South Africa and Romania.
