'ThreadSpace: Hyperbol' Stress Test Now Open on Steam

Set in the distant future, players will engage in highly tactical multiplayer combat as they control massive gunships capable of firing a large variety of projectiles. Hyperbol’s innovative gameplay, intense combat, and persistent universe will entice gamers spanning several genres.

Set in the distant future, ThreadSpace: Hyperbol immerses gamers into a persistent universe filled with battles involving tactics and strategy. Players control massive ships capable of firing over 30 unique projectiles in battlefields that support up to 16 players online. With the ability to acquire new ships and customize them to their play-style, gamers are in store for a fast-paced strategy game with intense multiplayer action.

Iocaine Studios is looking for a few (5,000, actually) gamers to help "Stress Test" <http://www.hyperbol.com> its debut action-strategy game, ThreadSpace: Hyperbol, slated for release on Steam in the next few weeks. The goal of the Stress Test is to ensure the game is ready to host massive numbers of players and servers, as well as to offer a sneak peek at the unique gameplay.

The Stress Test will run for one week, concluding at midnight on Sunday, July 1. Note that characters created during the Stress Test will be wiped before the game is released.
