Top Trumps: Dogs and Dinosaurs announcement follows January's news regarding Top Trumps: Horror and Predators which releases in July 2007 on NDS, and in June 2007 on the PS2 and PC formats. Both games exploit the highly successful Top Trumps play-pattern that has thrilled players of all ages since the 1970's.
Packs start from £2.49 retail and sales in the UK hit £18 Million last year. The brand has enjoyed many years of success with a strong licensing programme which includes brands such as Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter and most recently Doctor Who and is featured in over 10,000 retail outlets in the UK.
The announcement of this second title in the series cements Ubisoft's commitment to the brand and signals the company's investment in the license for 2007. This includes creating a dedicated website and ramping up broadcast media activity as part of a comprehensive consumer and trade marketing campaign.
