'Luminator DS' (NDS) - 3 New Screens

by Rainier on July 2, 2007 @ 9:24 a.m. PDT

XIDER Games will be making its first venture into the NDS format with Luminator DS, a puzzle-strategy game with a modern soundtrack and updated Tetris-style play which will banish your Rubik’s Cube to the attic permanently.

Construction combos are needed as the player aims to turn their building blocks into valuable points. There are 15 different soundtracks to quicken the pulse with music developing from a casual beat to a techno trance as the bricks fall faster. Players can test their structural creativity on 16 different backgrounds at different difficulty levels to make sure that no gamer’s experience is ever the same.

Luminator DS, developed by VIS, offers the player a constantly evolving challenge with two difficulty levels in ‘normal mode’ and three in ‘puzzle mode’, plus music to add tension and enhance enjoyment. It is an addictive game that will test, tease and, if the player is good enough, eventually satisfy.

This is the latest addition to XIDER’s rapidly expanding games portfolio already including popular PC games Ankh: Heart of Osiris, the Bone episodes and Bad Mojo.

Release date: Q3 2007
