Konami celebrates Track & Field's 25th, first released on the Nintendo NES back in 1983. The New International Track & Field features over 20 different athletic events, with several unlockable characters from other Konami franchises, designed by Udon Entertainment, such as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 and Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures.
Also included will be various online options such as 4-player matches either locally or via Wi-Fi, downloadable content, online rankings, leader boards and detailed player profiles. A news feed ticker will update anyone playing online whenever world records are broken via a news ticker across the screen.
New International Track & Field for the NDs is scheduled to be released in 2008.
