EA's Marvel Fighting Game Officially Canceled

At Comic-con 2007 EA Chicago, known for the Fight Night/Def Jam series, had revealed that it was developing a new superhero fighting game franchise using the Marvel license, but when the studio was shut down a few months later, EA said the status of the project was still being determined. Today the verdict came in: EA officially canceled the project, while terminating its license agreement with Marvel according to GameTap.
