In Dungeon Explorer Warriors of Ancient Arts, players are on a quest and ready to uncover the fate of a legendary kingdom as they prepare to battle demonic forces and monstrous creatures. Armed with their own arsenal of assorted weapons, gamers will encounter epic battles as they are trained in weaponry and mystical forces as Warriors of Ancient Arts.

Hundreds of variations of weapons, armor and equipment can be chosen and upgraded throughout the adventure to defeat enemies. Players have the ability to choose their warfare style with more than 150 different kinds of fighting arts, one of them being Big Bang Arts, a fighting style unique for the PSP system.

In the PSP system version of the game, Big Bang Arts allows three players to team up to triple their destructive power in Ad-Hoc Multiplayer mode. Big Bang Arts essentially harnesses the power of all three characters at one time in order to unleash a devastating attack on the enemy. Since the game is action-oriented, timing is of extreme importance to executing it.

Big Bang Arts can be performed by overlapping the Art Sights from multiple party members. The strength of your Big Bang Art will increase according to the number of party members who combine their Art Sights. You will be able to unleash a very powerful attack if you and your party members all use their attacks with precision timing. Big Bang Arts also have attributes, so you should use the right Arts on the right enemies.

Dungeon Explorer Warriors of Ancient Arts will also be available for the DS, but the Big Bang Arts feature is exclusive to the PSP version. Both versions ship in mid-February, and both games update the classic series with an all-new engaging story and introduce new RPG gameplay elements never seen before in a handheld game.

In the DS version, gamers find themselves in a land plagued by a legion of undead, monstrous soldiers. Commanded by the Demon God, the Evil Menace is determined on bringing Westoria Kingdom to its final days. The story takes place centuries after the events of the PSP version, as a legend foretells of a hero who will rise to face the threat. Gamers must rediscover the lost Ancient Fighting Arts of Westoria in order to restore peace to a once sprawling and vibrant kingdom.

With more than 60 different fighting arts across 8 lost Ancient Fighting Art schools, players can become a skilled warrior to successfully wage battle against dangerous enemies such as the Demon God's undead soldiers, mutated monsters, and an army of ancient automatons. To assist in battle, the game offers hundreds of weapons, armor and equipment; all can be upgraded along the way. For a group effort, 3 players can join forces to battle the Demon god's minions via Nintendo's Wireless Connection.
