Tecmo Merger With KOEI to be Finalized in April 2009, $207 Million Price Tag

Koei revealed today that its merger with Tecmo, known for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series, will be completed by April 2009, as it plans to acquire Tecmo's shares for $207 million and will then henceforth operate under the Tecmo Koei Holdings label. Earlier this year, Tecmo turned down an offer from Square Enix.
