'Drawn to Life' (NDS) Coming to the Wii

by Rainier on Feb. 6, 2008 @ 11:24 a.m. PST

Originally an NDS exclusive, Drawn to Life takes players to the next level of interaction and creativity. Your exact drawings populate the game, and no tedious animating or image manipulation is necessary. In other words, your drawing comes to life! During the THQ conf. call a few days ago CEO Brian Farrell stated that it is so happy with the Drawn to Life sales, a Wii version is planned.

Drawn to Life provides an unprecedented gameplay experience where players traverse numerous worlds with a hero they create. Players will also draw environmental elements that will aid their hero to success throughout their journey.

In Drawn to Life, players will help save a distant village from the shadow-like evil that has covered it in darkness. Using one of four different Hero forms, including Flying Hero and Aquatic Hero, players will create their own unique hero to conquer a variety of different environments including snowy fields, tropical islands and dark forests. The robust drawing tool contains different methods of creation in addition to numerous colors, brush types and stamps that will allow for complete freedom to develop one-of-a-kind characters and game elements. Drawn to Life will also feature the ability for players to trade their created heroes with friends.

Features

  • Rebuild a small village, drawing the planets, animals, sun, moon, stars and much more! Watch as your creations interact in the streets with the town population!
  • Jump, crawl, charge and battle your way through dark forests, windy meadows, busy cities and tropical islands.
  • Drawn to Life provides a powerful, yet easy-to-use paint set, including a 25 color swatch palette, eraser, three brush sizes and flood fill. Not an artist? Tracing templates are available to guide users to create works of art.
