'NBA 2K8' (ALL) Gets Free Roster Updates

NBA 2K8 will elevate the game of basketball to new levels never experienced before for the next-gen systems. NBA 2K8 will also continue to build and expand the groundbreaking Signature Style feature that will include hundreds of new shooting, passing and dribbling animations.

NBA 2K8 will feature incredible graphics, unmatched gameplay and exciting new features to provide the most comprehensive and realistic basketball experience ever created for gamers. Using the latest in motion capture technology, 2K Sports will record the NBA players’ signature moves for inclusion into the game. NBA 2K8 features exciting all-new play modes, defensive mechanics, off-ball controls, a radically improved franchise mode and an impressive set of other updated features.

As the newest offering of this elite series, NBA 2K8 will elevate the game of basketball to new levels never experienced before for the next generation systems. NBA 2K8 will also continue to build and expand the groundbreaking Signature Style feature that will include hundreds of new shooting, passing, and dribbling animations.

As NBA teams continue to jockey for playoff position in the Western and Eastern Conference, a busy trade deadline resulted in a flurry of blockbuster trades and transactions this past month. To reflect the commitment of providing fans with the most fun and authentic NBA experience available, updated team rosters for the top-rated basketball franchise, NBA 2K8, are now available to download for free through Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network.

Some of the notable players who swapped teams in recent weeks include Shaquille O’Neal to the Phoenix Suns, Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jason Kidd to the Dallas Mavericks, Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks, Ben Wallace to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Shawn Marion to the Miami Heat.
