Virtual pet owners will be introduced to an assortment of city and country animals looking for a special place to call home. To earn the animals trust and friendship, players will need to walk, feed, clean, play, and bond with their new friends. City folks will be able to interact with 18 different animals, based on the Japanese photographer, Yoneo Morita’s HanaDeka (meaning big nose in Japanese) brand, including dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, rabbits and pigs.
“The growing popularity of virtual pet simulation games and the humorous nature of the game have turned Animal Paradise into a hit in Europe,” said Karim Farghaly, vice president of sales at Empire Interactive. “We are positive that children searching for light-hearted fun with a variety of animals will find the game easy to pick up, play and enjoy for a very long time.”
Animal Paradise takes place on a virtual farm where players will be tasked with becoming best friends with all the animals throughout the game. Kids will be introduced to new furry friends to care for and will unlock fun-packed mini-games such as Treasure Hunting, Footprint Trail and Shampoo Scrub. Once tikes have gained the animal’s trust, they will be able to unlock cute, fun, and exclusive pet pictures to add to their virtual photo album.
Available in Europe since 2007, Animal Paradise is coming to North America this summer.
