The next World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is scheduled for later this year, n the Alpha test can be accessed by typing in and according to leaked information from the on-going alpha test, Blizzard seems to be including an achievements system. The leaked info shows awards for things like total death, general PvP and exploration, although it is not yet clear what the achievement points will get you. The Achievement system can be accessed by typing in "/achievement".
