In order to avoid going head to head with Michael Bay's Transformers: Rise of the Fallen on June 19, 2009, Disney has decided to delay the Prince of Persia movie until May 28, 2010 according to Coming Soon. Starring starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Artertonas, Alfred Molina (Spider-Man's Dr. Octopus) and Sir Ben Kingsley, the Prince of Persia movie is based on PoP: Sands of Time, and is the first in a trilogy of movies written by Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner and directed by Jerry Bruckheimer.
