'Rock Band' (ALL) to Get Megadath's Peace Sells... and Rock Band Tour 4-pack

MTV and Harmonix announced that next week's addition to the Rock Band Music Store will be Megadeth's 'Peace Sells...But Who’s Buying? album, as well as the Rock Band Tour 4-pack which includes the Cab's One of Those Nights, Dashboard Confessional's Hands Down, Panic! At the Disco's She’s a Handsome Woman” by Panic!, and Plain White T’s Natural Disaster.

First we have the full album of Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? from Megadeth. The 7 tracks on this full album release joining the title song which is on the Rock Band 2 disc.

Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? will be available for $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points) for the album, or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track. The title track is missing from this DLC because it is included in on the Rock Band 2 disc, which comes out this Sunday Sept. 14 for Xbox 360.

In addition HMX will also be putting out a Rock Band Tour 4-pack from bands on our Rock Band Tour kicking off in October.

All tracks in the Rock Band Tour Pack are $.99 (80 Microsoft Points) or $3.99 (320 Microsoft Points) for a limited time (October 14 on Xbox and October 16 on PS3) when they return to $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track or $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) for the full pack.

Major record labels and leading music publishers have signed on to provide unrivaled access to master recordings and legendary rock artists with hits from the '70s, '80s, '90s and 2000s. Record labels partnering with MTV Games and Harmonix include EMI Music, Hollywood Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group's Universal Music Enterprises and Warner Music Group's Rhino Entertainment. Music publishers partnering with MTV Games and Harmonix include EMI Music Publishing and Warner/Chappel Music.

A variety of song packs, albums and individual tracks will be available for download on a weekly basis. And that's just through the end of 2007. Fans can expect more music every week through 2008 with suggested retail pricing varying from $.99 to $2.99 per track (The equivalent of 80 to 240 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360), with the vast majority selling for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360).

In addition to the 58 songs available on the game disc, Harmonix and MTV Games are offering a robust calendar of new downloadable content including packs, full albums and individual tracks to satiate the desire for constantly refreshed Rock Band content, including:
