by Rainier on Nov. 12, 2009 @ 7:09 a.m. PST

Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

We will update this throughout the day when new announcements become available. Read more for details ...

My Baby First Steps (NDS/Wii)

“We’re thrilled to launch the new DS game and incredibly excited that Wii gamers will get to experience the joy of raising a baby for the first time,” said Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing for SouthPeak. "We expect both versions of My Baby First Steps to be massive hits with the loyal audience of virtual mommies who’ve been very vocal in demonstrating their excitement for the new game.”

My Baby First Steps follows last year’s blockbuster NDS hits My Baby Girl and My Baby Boy. It gives aspiring parents the exciting task of teaching and nurturing their baby as it grows to become a walking, talking toddler. Players will teach their baby how to recognize and name shapes and body parts, feed themselves, climb stairs and more. Just like the first game, the baby will need lots of interaction and affection and will need to be fed, changed, bathed and gently put to sleep at night.

My Baby First Steps features all new customization options. Players can determine their baby’s appearance and sex, or let the game surprise them. Taking trips to the mall allows players to buy new clothing and accessories for their baby and for their home!

My Baby First Steps, rated E for everyone, is available now for Wii and NDS for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Murder, She Wrote (PC)

Murder, She Wrote transforms the PC into an interactive seek and find “who-dun-it” mystery adventure with unique minigames in every scene. Play as the lovable murder novelist Jessica Fletcher and solve each of the five cases by carefully and methodically investigating murders using an innovative new style of hidden object and light adventure gameplay. First, players need to find missing keys from Jessica’s typewriter to fill in the unknown letters in the list of hidden objects. After the entire words are revealed, there are more secrets to uncover as not all the hidden objects can be found by just discovering where they lay. As every detective knows, nothing is ever as it seems!

Scour over 80 game levels with familiar characters from the show - Jessica Fletcher, Seth Hazlitt and Sheriff Mort Metzger. Set in the beautiful New England town of Cabot Cove and across the seas in London, the more than 25 detailed 3-D settings may distract even the most determined player from their investigation. Featuring 5 original cases and over 6 hours of gameplay, Murder, She Wrote provides entertaining twists and turns that are sure to please both long time fans of the show and casual gamers alike.

Murder, She Wrote is available on Legacy Games as digital download ($9.99).

Remington Great American Bird Hunt (Wii)

With an arsenal of authentic Remington shotguns that look, feel and shoot like the real things, Remington Great American Bird Hunt is a fast-paced and fun take on the sport of bird hunting. On their own or with a hunting party of up to three friends, players will take on more  than 20 birds including turkeys, ducks, grouse and pheasants as Rockford, the faithful hunting dog, stays close by to lend a helping paw when needed. Each new environment and bird species calls for new strategies and carefully selected Remington shotguns. Sixty levels and more than 50 trophies and power-ups make Remington Great American Bird Hunt a game worth enjoying again and again.

Multiplayer action in Remington Great American Bird Hunt includes support for up to four players at one time, with options for both competitive and cooperative play and a separate party game mode. Remington Great American Bird Hunt is optimized to work with the Wii Remote or the Wii Zapper accessory.

"Remington Great American Bird Hunt is all about non-stop hunting action," said Bill Swartz, Head Woof of Mastiff. "We took the best parts of hunting, like the adrenaline rush from a great shot, Remington's legendary shotguns and the experience of spending time with your buddies, added bonuses and power-ups, and turned it into a game that's just plain fun to play for anyone, be they hunter or gamer."
