'Dementium II' (NDS) Launches Teaser Website - New Screens

by Rainier on Dec. 7, 2009 @ 4:09 a.m. PST

Continuing the storyline from the original, Dementium II will deliver better visuals, more haunting audio, and sharper scares than its predecessor, promising to take players even closer to the precipice of madness

A sequel to Renegade Kid’s Dementium: The Ward, the next chapter in this horrific story promises to take players even closer to the precipice of madness than its predecessor.

Continuing the storyline from the original, Dementium II will deliver better visuals, more haunting audio, and sharper scares than the original game.

The first 1000 people that pre-order Dementium II for Nintendo DS and send in a copy of their receipt (with their mailing address) to DementiumII@southpeakgames.com will win a Dementium II poster, featuring the box art, personally signed by its creators Jools Watsham and Gregg Hargrove at Renegade Kid. All they’ll need to do is order the game at an authorized retailer – Amazon, GameStop, etc - and then scan, forward or take a picture of their receipt and send them to the above e-mail address. Two more rules: this offer is open to residents in US and Canada only and is limited to one per household.   Preordered Dementium II already?  No problem—you can get one too!  But you can only get the poster once, so please, only entries from fans who did not participate in the Halloween pre-order event.

“We decided to launch the teaser site first because, to be honest, the full website is too disturbing for most people,” said Rob Burman, European PR Manager, SouthPeak Games. “An old lady accidentally glanced at the full thing last week and nearly fainted... so we just didn’t want to take the risk.”

New and increasingly more horrible content will be rolled out in the run up to Dementium II’s release next February and the website will soon be the place to go for exclusive videos, screenshots and more information about the mysterious Bright Dawn Treatment Centre.
