Bringing a world-class lineup of games to the Big Apple and giving fans a chance to interface with the creative team behind the hotly anticipated Splatterhouse, attendees should come early and come often to booth #1213 to take part in the festivities. New York Comic Con 2009 runs from February 6-8 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
The Splatterhouse panel will feature design and story leads working on the game discussing the creative process behind this highly-anticipated title. In addition to the game’s producers from Namco Bandai Games, writer Gordon Rennie of comic book fame (Necronauts, Judge Dredd) will be on-hand to discuss the game and take questions from fans in this hour-long session taking place from 4:45pm-5:45pm on Friday, February 6 in Panel Room 9 (1A22). The panel will also debut a new trailer for the game, giving the first glimpse of gameplay footage from this gory revival.
Giving visitors a chance to showcase their ninja skills, Namco Bandai Games will hold two daily Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden tournaments. Held daily at noon and 4pm (3pm on Sunday), those that participate will be eligible to win an assortment of great prizes. The first video game in North America based on the Naruto: Shippuden animated series from VIZ Media, Ultimate Ninja 4 debuts a number of new gameplay modes and playable characters for the most comprehensive Naruto video game experience yet.
Giving show attendees a look at several unreleased titles, the Namco Bandai Games booth will be the show headquarters for serious gamers and anyone interested in learning more about some of 2009’s hottest video games.
