'World of Warcraft' Custom Figures Coming to Europe

by Rainier on March 10, 2009 @ 2:50 a.m. PDT

Rich in legend and filled with adventure, the World of Warcraft awaits! For the first time, players experience the lands of Azeroth from a new, in-depth perspective. As heroes, they explore familiar battlefields, discover new lands and take on epic quests and challenges.

Originally launched in 2007, FigurePrints allows players to create custom statues of the characters they play in World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment’s multiplayer online role-playing game.

The custom statues from FigurePrints are manufactured using high-tech 3D color printing technology and then are hand-finished to produce one-of-a-kind works of art. “When we launched FigurePrints in North America we were overwhelmed by the interest from the World of Warcraft community. With the expansion of FigurePrints into Europe, we have the experience and scale to bring our custom figure business to more players than ever before,” said Ed Fries, CEO of FigurePrints LLC.

World of Warcraft players in Europe can purchase a FigurePrint for the price of 129,95 Euros plus shipping, taxes and duties. Both European and North American players can access the service.
