While EA has yet to officially announce the next installment in its hockey franchise, there won't be a PC or PS2 edition of NHL 10, according to the Hockey Downloads forum. Citing "economic reasons," EA's Ryan Nicholas revealed that it wasn't worth putting manpower into those versions. PC sales aren't high enough to create a significant profit for the company, and those development teams have instead been reassigned to work on the X360/PS3 versions.
