While there is no official announcement yet, except for a teaser trailer, a new BioShock title is no secret. While retail outlets Gamestop and EBGames have Take Two's action/horror follow-up pegged for an Oct. 5, 2009 release, details are nothing but guesswork so far. However 2K Games community manager Elizabeth Tobey has confirmed that the BioShock sequel has dropped the "Sea of Dreams" subtitle and will henceforth simply be known as BioShock 2.
