A sequel to Assassin's Creed isn't exactly a secret, since Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed last year that Assassin's Creed 2 is in development. The new Game Informer reveals the first details, saying that in AC2, players take on the role of Ezio, a young noble whose family was lost through rival ruling families' betrayals. Set in Renaissance-era Venice you will have new weapons, meet famous people like Machiavelli, Caterina Sofrza, and Lorenzo de Medici, as well as feature day & night missions, a notoriety system, new enemy types, and 16 unique mission types.
