Not content to just add Trophies, Capcom decided to take the opportunity to tweak the game a little bit to make it a bit more accessible.
In an update for the PSN and XBLA versions, GRIN has reworked Easy and Normal difficulties. Note that Hard and Super Hard have been left untouched and challenges.
- If you die, you will respawn at the last solid ground you stood on, or the last checkpoint.
- Say it with me now….”Unlimited Lives”
- If you hook to a point and you realize that your line is too short to get you where you need to go, you can hit a button and reel your line out.
- If you swing into a wall while still hooked, you will no longer bounce off of the wall, disconnect, and hopelessly fall do your spikey death. Instead, you will bounce off of the wall, stay connected, and reel in.
For all difficulties, GRIN also fixed a small bug with the Super Joe Machine Gun. When upgraded, it will not only have a larger clip, but also deal more damage.
