Originally released as an arcade game by Konami in 1991, Turtles in Time became Konami's bestselling arcade title, hailed for its adherence to the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles material. The upcoming re-release will feature updated graphics, but it will stay true to the original feel of the arcade game.
A side-scrolling, four-player action brawler based on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled will kick off the Summer of Arcade, and release on August 5, 2009 worldwide exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360, and later this year on the PlayStation Network.

Originally slated to cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), Ubisoft and Microsoft have lowered that price to 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
