Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood transports players from a ravaged Civil War-era Georgia to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. In the wildest West ever depicted, players can embody both McCall brothers in an intense Wild West storyline full of greed, lust and lawlessness that takes place during a legendary period of American history.Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is the prequel to the Wild West action shooter Call of Juarez. As the McCall brothers, players enter a doomed quest for the legendary Gold of Juarez leading them from a ravaged Georgia during the Civil War to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. They make their lawless trail into the wildest West ever depicted, using their gun-slinging skills and killing all of those that stand before them. But when the brothers face lust, their bond of blood feels thinner than ever.
The release of this first Game Add On pack, on PS3 and X360, will provide consumers with even more legendary Wild West shootouts. The "Old West Map Pack” contains four multi-player maps, and will be available on PSN/XBL August 6, 2009.The four new maps will allow players to relive even more historical events of American history, including General Custer's last stand at Little Big Horn, the Vulture Mine robbery and two famous prison escapes. The download's four maps are all playable in every game mode.
Multi-player Map Details:
- Little Bighorn: An open terrain level reconstructing the famous battle of Little Bighorn of June 25–26th, 1876, when General Custer's troops were obliterated by combined American Indian forces.
- Vulture Mine: Based on a theft of gold from the mine, outlaws must breach the storage facility and rob the gold stash while destroying a lift in order to Escape.
- Fort Smith: In this prison escape, outlaws must breach a jail wall, ring an alarm at a nearby Sheriff's office and then try to escape.
- Elmira Prison Camp: The epic escape from Union Civil War Prison at Elmira, NY, on October 7, 1864 is recreated. Prisoners must blow up the camp and make their way to an armory and attempt to gain means of transport.

- Become a Gunslinger – Harness a variety of weapons from various revolvers to heavy-caliber cannons and machine guns. Every accurate shot increases concentration, which allows players to unleash deadly shooting modes when outnumbered and even deadlier ones when the brothers work together.
- Dual Collaborative Gameplay – Players choose to embody Ray or Thomas, each with a distinctive gameplay style (close or long range), specific abilities (lasso, dynamite, etc.) and arsenal of deadly weapons (dual guns, long-range carbine, etc.). - Innovative Online Multiplayer – Developed in unison with the single player mode, multiplayer offers numerous modes and maps, resulting in endless hours of Wild West mayhem. Gunslingers, bandits and marshals struggle online for the bounty. Multiple characters are unlocked for team-based objective modes or the straightforward team death match. With a new Bounty system, players increase the bounty on their head with more kills. Get rid of the deadliest among you to increase your bank roll!
