Xbox 360 Sees 43% Sales Increase In UK

Xbox 360 is a video game and entertainment system that is home to video games, an on-demand library of movies and TV shows connected to the television. The Xbox 360 blends its content with the largest online social network of 20 million members on Xbox Live to create an entertainment experience that can be shared at home or across the globe.
In light of last week's price drop, Microsoft's Xbox 360 is already reaping the rewards as it sees a 43% sales increase compared to the week prior according to ChartTrack. While Sony's PS3 saw a boost in sales numbers following its price drop at GamesCom 09, the rush tappered off and turnover dropped 20%, possibly fans instead holding out for the launch of the PS3 Slim.
