Homeworld Raider Retreat includes five single player missions including a mission that was not in the original Homeworld. The game allows for complete multiplayer over LAN (TCP/IP) and skirmish missions.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Homeworld’s release. has worked with GameRanger and WorthPlaying to get this version of Homeworld out to the world.

GameRanger has modified their software to provide support for Homeworld Raider Retreat. This will allow players to enjoy multiplayer games of Homeworld Raider Retreat, with up to 7 other players, over the Internet. This is the OEM Version of Homeworld known as Raider Retreat that was originally released to pre-purchasers of Homeworld: Cataclysm in 2000. Sierra also allowed unrestricted distribution of Homeworld Raider Retreat at that time. THQ, the current owners of Homeworld, have cleared this release as well.
