We will update this throughout the day when new announcements become available. Read more for details ...

Kirby’s Epic Yarn (Wii)

Kirby’s Epic Yarn, now available exclusively for the Wii console, finds the lovable Kirby™ jumping, battling and transforming his way through a remarkable world where everything is made of yarn and fabric. The game weaves dazzling graphics and outrageous characters together into a wild, wooly new adventure that can be instantly enjoyed by players of any age or background. A cooperative two-player mode even lets friends experience the game’s irresistible action together.

Everything in Kirby’s Epic Yarn is styled to reflect the game’s inventive textile theme, from its charming environments and devious enemies to Kirby himself. Players can tug on zippers, swing on buttons and pull on stray threads to reveal hidden areas. A new yarn whip allows Kirby to disarm and unravel his foes or roll them up into balls of yarn that can be lobbed at obstacles.

In Kirby’s Epic Yarn, a powerful sorcerer named Yin-Yarn transports Kirby to a realm called Patch Land. Along with the fearless Prince Fluff, Kirby must recover strands of magic yarn that will help keep this wondrous cloth-based kingdom from coming completely unraveled. Infamous series villain King Dedede and his pesky Waddle Dees also appear, as does the mysterious Meta Knight. As players dodge obstacles and clear levels, they’ll be able to transform Kirby into new forms such as Car Kirby, 2-Ton Kirby and Parachute Kirby. Special level-specific transformations include Tank Kirby, Surfboard Kirby and Spaceship Kirby.

“The combination of creative visuals and exciting game play in Kirby’s Epic Yarn make for an experience that is sure to leave smiles on players’ faces,” said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations. “Kirby is one of Nintendo’s most beloved characters, and his platforming debut on Wii is nothing short of a must-have for fans this holiday season.”

Winter Voices: Avalanche (PC)

“Avalanche”, the introductory prologue to “Winter Voices” 7-episode season, provides between 4 and 5 hours of play. Each episode is available for 4,49 €.

“Winter Voices” is an entertaining and pioneering game whose main female character is at grips with the phantoms of her past. The team’s editorial and creative angle is to enable the player, through the provision of regular episodes, to follow the heroine’s physical and mental journey in an adventure that is riveting to the end.

The prologue “Avalanche” was first played at the popular Festival du Jeu Vidéo in Paris (France) last September. Its innovative approach and unique game-play – defensive and psychological – were appreciated, particularly by the many games bloggers who came to meet the team

“Winter Voices’” first episode “Avalanche,” is now available for download.

Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes (PC)

The game combines the features and clichés of Western and Asian console RPGs like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics and provides a highly addicting and entertaining change to the current, more serious role playing games. The game is focused on providing the fascination of the Strategy RPG genre, but also weaves a humorous storyline and plenty of amusing dialogue, poking fun at some of the most successful RPGs, such as Oblivion, Final Fantasy and Lord of the Rings.

To protect the kingdom from the merciless cult “The Dark Church” which has murdered all of the kingdom’s heroes and knights, you will have to hire dubious soldiers and rescue jealous maidens who will follow you into combat as your groupies. Up to 10 heroes are deployed in tactical battles to take on the Dark Church with their mysterious special abilities.

Key Features

  • Turn based tactical battles with humorous animations not seen in any RPG
  • Distinctive party members such as the arrogant Holy Avatar, the blood thirsty Vampire Solitaire, the sweet but hot-tempered Angel Angelina and many more
  • Gorgeous village landscapes and dark, sinister dungeons
  • Scantily dressed maidens to be freed from the grasp of merciless monsters
  • Enormous, highly detailed and very angry end bosses
  • Classical RPG elements: quests, treasures, trade, leveling up and outfitting a party of unique heroes
  • Enjoyable multiple choice dialogues and conversation puzzles in the style of classic adventures, such as Monkey Island or Maniac Mansion

Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes is available for $19.99 on most digital portals and is currently on sale on Steam with a 20% discount.
