Dance Central is a full-body, controller-free dance video game with fun choreography for beginners and experts. Whether rehearsing in Break It Down! or owning the dance floor in Perform It!, players will be introduced to more than 650 moves in the game and more than 90 dance routines created by professional choreographers. In addition, players can earn achievements; unlock new character outfits and venues and progress through the dance ranks. Dance Central even gives players a calorie-burning tracking option so they can turn all that fun into an actual workout. In Dance Battle, players can challenge friends to an epic living room showdown.
Completely free from any controller, every routine features fun choreography and authentic routines for beginners and experts alike of all ages to master, alongside a killer soundtrack that spans a great sampling of pop, funk, hip-hop, Latin and R&B artists, including Cascada, Kool & The Gang, Kylie Minogue, No Doubt, Salt-N-Pepa, Nelly Furtado, Christina Milian and more.

Popular hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas, No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Artists of the Decade, came on the scene in Los Angeles in 1995 and since then has sold more than 27 million albums worldwide. The group’s hit “I Gotta Feeling”, from their 2009 album The E.N.D., has sold more downloads than any other song and will be available next week for download and play in Dance Central.
Funk band Cameo quickly made their mark on the 1970s dance scene with the release of disco-heavy soul tracks. In the mid-80s, the band released its biggest single “Word Up!”from the album of the same name, and next week, that single will be available for Dance Central.
Hip-hop duo Tag Team is best known for their 1993 chart topping single, “Whoomp! (There It Is)” from the album of the same name. A commonly heard anthem at sporting events, the multi-platinum selling single reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is featured in Billboard’s Greatest Songs of all time.
