'Resonance of Fate' (ALL) Gets Hollywood Voice-overs

by Rainier on March 15, 2010 @ 12:40 p.m. PDT

Resonance of Fate follows Zephyr, PMC employee Vashyron, and Subject 20 who is condemned to die on her 20th birthday. End of Eternity's battle system involves real-time gunplay elements, along with the aforementioned military theme.

Resonance of Fate redefines the RPG genre with a unique storyline, highly stylized graphics, and an emphasis on realistic gunplay and engrossing action. Players will be immersed in a gritty, highly mechanized world unlike any other. With Hollywood-style action sequences, customizable weapons, and memorable characters, Resonance of Fate takes players far beyond the boundaries of the typical RPG.

Back in August of last year – in the middle of the busy production schedule of the Japanese version of the game –Shimano-san (producer, SEGA Japan) and Suguro-san (director, tri-Ace), flew out to Los Angeles to over-see the recording of the English Language vocal track.

So, let us introduce you to the three main cast members.

Vashyron is voiced in the west by Nolan North; a name that many gamers out there will be familiar with. If you’ve played any of the Uncharted or Assassin’s Creed games, then you’ll certainly recognise his voice, as he’s the man behind Nathan Drake and Desmond Miles. Actually, have a look at his IMDB page for a full list (he’s been in loads of great games).

The character of Leanne is voice by Jessica Di Cicco, a talented voice-over artist who has appeared in many games and animated series including White Knight Chronicles, Kingdom Hearts II and the BLEACH TV series.

The final member of the trio, Zephyr, is voiced by Scott Menville. Again, Scott is a talented voice-over artist whose vocal chords have appeared in many animated series and movies including Bolt, Open Season, Batman: Gotham Knight and many more. Scott is no stranger to videogames either; having voiced characters in Medal of Honor: Airborne, MySims, Call of Duty 2 and MGS3.
