First out of the blocks is GP Classic Racing on 9th July. A must-have for any classic car fan, the game replicates the raw power and excitement of 1960s classic car racing; choose from five classic cars to race around 10 challenging circuits.
GP Classic Racing faithfully replicates the raw, fast, excitement of 1960s racing, with a variety of racing modes such as Challenge, Race and Championship. Action takes place across two-player split screen mode - go head-to-head against another player, or simply race against the computer.
Next up is Rally Racer on 20th July, which puts gamers behind the wheel of a high powered fully customisable rally car, to race across fast-paced time trials or full European Championships, including various international stages such as English landscapes to Alpine passes.
Gamers can practice individual courses to build confidence before undertaking a full championship and, thanks to the garage feature, players can fine tune their vehicles to better handle the different types of terrain.
Finally, Drag & Stock Racer debuts on 8th August. Known as the fastest and most dangerous of all motorsports, gamers can choose from a stock car, top fueller or funny car. Launch these down quarter-mile straights, banked ovals and a host of other hair-raising circuits, and watch them fly.
Modes include Shoot Out, Big Ramp and Stunt Arena and gamers can race as a solo player or head-to-head. Beat lap records and win championships to unlock new game modes too.
"Your Dad would stand no chance against you at GT5, but with any of our new Racer games at least you'd have a great laugh and it'd have cost you less than putting a suitcase on Ryanair," says Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing Director. "Pocket-money gaming never went away and not everyone wants second-hand games for their birthday. Our new Racers are box-fresh and great value."
Each of the titles are once again developed by racing games specialist Brain In A Jar, the developer behind last May's releases, Kart Racer and Truck Racer both available on the Wii, PS2 and PC.
Rally Racer, Drag & Stock Racer and GP Classic Racing, all for the Nintendo Wii and retailing at a wallet-friendly price point of £14.99.
