Yogi Bear: The Video Game lets players of all ages take on the role of the lovable Yogi Bear in his pursuit to save Jellystone Park from shutting down forever!

In Yogi Bear: The Video Game, help Yogi Bear (voiced by Dan Akroyd, who also stars as Yogi in the movie) save Jellystone Park from being shut down forever. Players will be able to explore, jump, crawl, belly slide, sneak, and zip-line through majestic Jellystone Park locales in search of wildlife, adventure, and sometimes the distraction of a pic-a-nic basket or two! However, be careful, Ranger Smith doesn’t tolerate disturbance of his campers and keeps a watchful eye over the park. Luckily there is Yogi Bear’s trusty sidekick Boo Boo, to help Yogi get through difficult challenges and antics.

“With over 50 years of history, the Yogi Bear license has proven to be smarter than the average bear,” said Bill Anker, vice president of business development and licensing, D3P. “In time for the Hollywood release of the film, the video game promises to deliver the full Yogi Bear experience that parents can enjoy with their children.”

Based on the film directed by Eric Brevig and characters created by Hanna-Barbera Production, Yogi Bear: The Video Game is under development by Monkey Bar Games and is currently rated “RP” (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

“Yogi Bear” is a live-action CG animated adventure in 3D, featuring everyone’s favorite pic-a-nic basket-stealing bear as he and his pal Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to save Jellystone Park from closing forever. It stars Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, Anna Faris, Tom Cavanagh and TJ Miller.

“Yogi Bear” is directed by Eric Brevig and produced by Donald De Line and Karen Rosenfelt, from a script written by Jeffrey Ventimilia & Joshua Sternin and Brad Copeland, based on characters created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. James Dyer, Lee Berger and Andrew Haas serve as executive producers. Peter James is the director of photography; David R. Sandefur, the production designer; Kent Beyda, the editor; Andrew Lockington, the composer; and Julianne Jordan, the music supervisor. “Yogi Bear” will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
