'Golfstar' Also Coming to North America

by Rainier on Sept. 28, 2010 @ 9:41 a.m. PDT

In Golfstar, a golf MMOG with impressive graphics, a staggering 30 players can form a group to play a round on one of the game's six courses. And the best part: you don't have to wait for the other guy to finish his turn.

Golfstar invites players to experience the fascinating world of golf. Up to 30 players can play together in a group and choose from six courses that all present a different level of difficulty. There are also five playing modes to choose from.

To reach the top of the rankings, players will first have to build their characters. Attributes like stamina and strength can continually be improved and active skills can be mastered. To do so, players will need a bit of skill: the right combination of buttons has to be entered in the right order to hit the ball just right.

Individuality is key in Golfstar. Players can put together their dream set of clubs and make their favorite putter as perfect as possible thanks to the game’s comprehensive upgrading system. But the golf bag isn't the only space for creativity in Golfstar: four different characters bring closets full of clothing. Players can pick outfits to customize their virtual alter ego. From a Casual Friday look to a more formal pin-striped suit get-up, the combinations are endless.
