Hearts of Iron The Card Game is a free-to-play online card game where players get to re-enact World War II in their browser. The game features over 120 unique cards with authentic World War II vehicles, locations and events.

Players will take on the role of Axis or Allies and choose their strategies as they challenge opponents online via Paradox Connect. The game is being developed internally by Paradox and is the company’s first online TCG.

"Hearts of Iron The Card game builds on the popular and successful Hearts of Iron strategy franchise that we’ve operated for the last several years,” said Tom Söderlund, Project Lead for Paradox Connect. “By taking Hearts of Iron to a free online card game format, we’ll be able to introduce a new audience to the series and also cater directly to online TCG fans.”

A deck editor also allows players to create custom decks according to their play style. Based off the popular historical grand strategy game the Hearts of Iron card game is designed to enable card commanders to strategically build and combine a lethal force to be reckoned with.

Main Features:

  • Free to play.
  • Play as the Axis, Allies or Comintern.
  • 120 unique cards with authentic World War II artwork.
  • 20 promotional cards.
  • Multiple game modes.
  • Deck editor lets you build and customize decks according to your preferences.
  • Trade cards with other players.
  • Paradox Connect support with achievements and highscores.

Hearts of Iron The Card Game is scheduled to enter open beta in the coming months.
