'We Dance' (Wii) Announced

by Rainier on March 31, 2011 @ 4:53 a.m. PDT

Unlike other dancing games, We Dance utilizes three different styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using a dance mat, or distinctively a combination of both – each offering varying levels of difficulty.

“The market is primed for the release of We Dance, and it sits perfectly alongside our family of We Sing games,” said Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. “We Dance is a great party and family gaming experience, accessible to people of all ages and abilities.”

We Dance will launch in May with 40 licensed tracks spanning four decades of music; from rock to pop, rap to disco and hip hop to drum ‘n’ bass, there is something for everyone.  The majority of tracks include the original videos to further add to the experience.

For authenticity, all dance steps have been fully choreographed by professional dancers helping make We Dance a more rewarding and energetic experience.

“Nordic Games is fast becoming the home of music entertainment on the Wii, and this is a significant extension to our range,” added Blower.

We Dance will be available to buy with one or two’ Star Mats’, or as a solus game. More information, including a full list of features and tracklist will be announced in coming weeks.
