Digital Reality Signs Distribution Agreement With Namco Bandai

by Rainier on May 12, 2011 @ 9:01 p.m. PDT

Digital Reality has entered into a distribution agreement with Namco Bandai Partners, maximizing the exposure for Digital Reality’s upcoming titles, the action-heavy arcade air race game SkyDrift and the humorous 3rd person zombie action survival title Dead Block.

SkyDrift focuses on the ultimate speed experience. Players will be taken closer than ever before to the world of adrenaline pumping sky-racing, with a huge choice of state-of-the-art aeroplanes tuned to the max with extreme weapons. Dominate against the deadliest opponents in the various single player and multiplayer modes in the most spectacular and exotic locations from around the world.

Dead Block takes place somewhere in the US during the ‘50s when the newly hell-spawned Rock’n’Roll music was so evil that it turned dead people into Zombies! Three survivors – Jack Foster, Foxy Jones and Mike Bacon – have formed an unlikely alliance to protect themselves from the invading undead. Hiding from the Zombies in abandoned buildings, they build blockades, set traps and – as a last resort – use their weapons to fight.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Namco Bandai Partners to bring our absolutely fantastic line up to Xbox Live Arcade. They have a very strong distribution channel backed by a really great team, and we look forward to building a successful partnership," commented András Peller CEO of Digital Reality Publishing.

“We’re very happy to be partnering with Digital Reality as they move into the world of publishing, and we are looking forward to working with them and using our considerable resources to bring these great games to the widest possible audience,” said Olivier Comte, VP Marketing, Sales & Publishing at Namco Bandai Partners.
