'Big Bass Arcade' (NDS) Announced, Coming Soon

by Rainier on May 2, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m. PDT

Big Bass Arcade puts the fun and excitement back into fishing games. Big John Games leverages 17 years of fishing game experience to bring you incredible fish behaviors, spectacular animations and second-to-none fish AI.

Big Bass Arcade is the brainchild of Ken Patterson, President of Big John Games, who has developed a number of best-selling fishing games, including Zebco 3D Pro, FLW Professional Bass Tournament, USA Bass, and Trophy Bass 2007 for PC and XBOX.  These successful fishing action games have combined sales of over one million units to date.

Packed with features, Big Bass Arcade includes 7 different lakes, 9 lures, 3 multiple lake tournaments, 42 events, high scores for each event, and the elusive World Record Bass.  There are two control options to choose from (stylus or +Control Pad) for casting, reeling, and controlling the fish fighting action.

With a proven track record of success Ken is confident Big Bass Arcade for the Nintendo DSiWare service is the perfect platform for taking the passion of fishing to a new level through unparalleled arcade action.  In his own words Ken believes, “The number one objective we had for creating this game was to catch the Big Bass and lots of them!  We have created a game that’s flat out fun and enjoyable for everyone.”

“This game is special, by far my favorite fishing game that we have created.” Ken said. “Big Bass Arcade appeals to fishing enthusiasts and video game players by capturing the adrenaline rush of fish fighting in an arcade style game!”

Big Bass Arcade, rated “E”, will release on the Nintendo DSiWare service for 500 Nintendo DSi Points.
