by Rainier on July 6, 2011 @ 9:27 a.m. PDT

Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

We will update this throughout the day when new announcements become available. Read more for details ...

Dead Block (XBLA)

Set in the U.S. during the idyllic 1950s, Dead Block takes players to a simpler time when a gallon of gas cost a few pennies, the "golden age" of cinema was in full swing, and that new (and apparently insanely evil) craze called rock 'n' roll swept the nation — and caused an apocalyptic musical plague to turn the deceased into the walking dead!

The three survivors of the shuffling zombie onslaught — Boy Scout Mike Bacon, construction worker Jack Foster, and no-nonsense meter maid Foxy Jones — hide in shelters around town and fortify their area by boarding up windows and setting a variety of unique, entertaining traps like the Cardboard Trap that makes zombies attack each other or the Freeze Trap that causes them to break into pieces.

Players collect items and power-ups while taking on zombies one-on-many with a variety of upgradeable weapons like nail guns and hamburger smart bombs, and even rock the undead to shreds with awesome guitar power! The game offers 10 single-player levels as well as a four-player, split-screen multiplayer with an additional eight co-op levels where players can fight side by side with their friends.

Dead Block is available on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points ($10).

Deadliest Warrior: Legends (XBLA)

Deadliest Warrior: Legends reaches beyond weapons and armor and put gamers back on the battlefield with the most legendary warriors in history. This version features more content than the original game, including nine heroic warriors, new fighting options, a more precise projectile system, more arenas, a new campaign mode and a strategy game (Generals), which allows players to use the battle simulator featured on-air on Spike TV's "Deadliest Warrior."

In addition to improved graphics, the new game also features enhanced combat options and as players complete challenges and destroy rivals, they unlock new weapons, enhance their fighting skills and encounter the brutal realities of gritty, true-to-life combat — like breaking arms and pushing opponents into pits. Players are also treated to a surprise hidden character from the hit show and exclusive digital goods (i.e. avatars).

Deadliest Warrior: Legends is available for download in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia for Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points ($10).

Gex: Deep Cover Gecko (PSP/PS3)

Gex: Deep Cover Gecko is full of tongue-in-cheek references to pop culture, television and movies. As an international secret agent for hire, Gex's next mission is to find the beautiful Agent Xtra who has been kidnapped by Gex's arch nemesis, Rez.

Gex first found fame on the small screen in the 1990s appearing in a trilogy of adventures on the original PlayStation system. Being voiced by acclaimed actors including Leslie Phillips (GEX 3D: Enter The Gecko) and Red Dwarf's Danny John-Jules (Gex: Deep Cover Gecko), GEX quickly earned the reputation of a wise-cracking, eccentric gecko, addicted to television and foiling the plans of Rez – overlord of the Media Dimension.

Gex: Deep Cover Gecko is now available for both the PS3 and the PSP via the PlayStationNetwork, priced £7.99 / €9.99.

MLB Bobblehead Pros (XBLA)

MLB Bobblehead Pros is packed with all of the sights, sounds and action of Major League Baseball with a fun twist: All of the players in the game have bobbleheads. No longer do baseball enthusiasts have to be among the first 1,000 fans to show up on game day to get their favorite player's bobblehead doll. MLB Bobblehead Pros gives you access to all your favorite bobblehead dolls and will allow you download them right onto your Xbox in the comfort of your own home.

MLB Bobblehead Pros features 30 teams with players wearing their home and road jerseys in games played under the professional code of baseball rules. Fans who have always wanted to see every major league ballpark can now step into the batter's box in 30 different stadiums within the game and try to hit a pitch out of the park. All 30 ballparks and their likenesses are included, plus players can compete through an entire season with their favorite team and try to win the pennant or go online and play against opponents for a fresh game every time.

MLB Bobblehead Stars will be a DLC pack available around the All-Star Game, also known as the "Midsummer Classic," in mid-July. The third game, MLB Bobblehead Battle, features a batting battle that will be out later this year.

MLB Bobblehead Pros is available to download on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points ($10).

Ninjamurai (PSP/PS3)

The new PSP Mini title puts players in control of a young ninja-samurai known as Ninjamurai on his quest to discover more about the "Black Armour" corporation and find those responsible for the death of his parents. With reflexive combat options, break-neck speed and high-flying action, players must battle and outrun a number of evil forces. The complex combat system is all about choice: players can focus on the speed of their Ninja training forsaking combative abilities but giving them extra speed, stealth and jumping abilities. If they prefer, players can challenge all those in their path via the combat stance, which gives them a powerful magical jutsu, combo attacks and a powerful stab attack. Players can opt to kill everything that moves or zoom past everyone and everything; with the achievement system rewarding both approaches!

The PSP Mini game features 20 levels, a huge soundtrack, hand-drawn visuals, five costumes, 12 in-game achievements, time trials and much more!

Ninjamurai is available on the PlayStation Network for $1.99.
