On Friday, we finally saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes and everybody really liked it. Nobody is surprised, of course, that the main ape Caesar is played by Andy Serkis, better known as The Lord Of The Rings' Gollum, or for starring in the Enslaved and Heavenly Sword video games.
Yesterday, we pigged out at the "Eat Real" festival downtown, the third year running, where they have dozens of food trucks gathered around offering their delicacies. The weather was not too good, but that worked out because the entire area was packed with thousands of people, so a little breeze now and again felt good without the sun beating down on us.
No plans for today, so we get to just lie around and watch shows on the DVR. Sweet!
