Splitscreen Studios has announced a postponement of the free 3D browser game Dino Storm. The closed beta test phase of the eagerly awaited sci-fi western spectacle of cowboys, dinosaurs and laser cannon will now start on November 23rd 2011 instead of the originally planned start on October 12th 2011.
Mark Buchholz, Development Director Splitscreen Studios says of the delay, ‘The postponement of the Dino Storm closed beta was not an easy decision for us. Since the introduction of the game at the gamescom in August, we have had extremely valuable feedback from the first testers. We want to live up to the great expectations and positive resonance from the community right from the start of the closed beta and make full use of the potential of Dino Storm - unfortunately, that has demanded more time than originally planned.’
Splitscreen Studios is currently working on another game map, new opponent types and the extensive tutorial. The user interface is also being improved and the balancing of the adventures revised.
