The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings features all-new dialogue, updated graphics engine, realistic environment, revamped day/night cycle, actions that affect AI behavior, more dynamic/spectacular/bloody finishing moves and plenty more.

The second entry in the Witcher saga is characterized by an incredibly gripping, mature and non-linear plot. In addition, the new combat system is even smoother and guarantees a greater variety of tactical possibilities.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings features an engrossing and very mature storyline that defines a new standard for realistic, non-linear game narration. With a mixture of beautiful visuals and dynamic action, the game puts players in a living and believable world. The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 is impeccably adapted for the console experience and delivers significant enhancements to the critically-acclaimed PC title. The game includes 3+ hours of new content and new gameplay and story elements, and marks the first appearance of the esteemed RPG on consoles.

In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, players take on the role of Geralt, a professional monster slayer who became embroiled in the political turmoil in the Kingdom of Temeria by helping to squash the rebellion undertaken by The Order of the Flaming Rose, and who saved the King's life by protecting him from a witcher-like assassin. A time of untold chaos has come as mighty forces clash behind-the-scenes in a struggle for power and influence. The Northern Kingdoms now mobilize and prepare for war. But armies on the march are not enough to stop a bloody conspiracy. Someone is hunting crowned heads and every assassination attempt intensifies the chaos.

Gameplay has been extended through the addition of new quests and locations, while The Witcher 2’s intriguing plot becomes even more complex with the introduction of major new NPCs who intensify the struggle for power in the Northern Kingdoms.

“PC users who already own the game will be happy to learn that they will be able to download all the added content free of charge. At the same time, the Xbox 360 version will incorporate all DLCs and upgrades made available thus far for the game’s original platform (including the ‘Arena’ arcade mode and Tutorial that were part of the latest and richest PC version)”  added Badowski.

Other enhancements include the game’s user interface, which has been revamped to deliver better control on the Xbox 360, while new targeting, camera and control systems will give players full control of the witcher during the game’s dynamic and tactically rich combat sequences.
