'DmC: Devil May Cry' (ALL) European Pre-Order Incentives

by Rainier on Dec. 19, 2012 @ 12:44 a.m. PST

Set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC depicts a duplicitous world where nothing is ever as it seems and the line between good and evil is constantly blurred. Spurred into action by the promises of a trusted relation, Dante bursts into this world intent on revenge at any cost.

Detailing Dante’s early years and set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC Devil May Cry will retain the stylish action, fluid combat and self-assured protagonist that have defined the iconic series but inject a more brutal and visceral edge.

DmC Devil May Cry will include full AMD support, including AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology and AMD CrossFire technology. These technologies allow gamers to harness the power of two or more graphics cards reinforcing the stunning visuals of the game and dramatically increase the game’s performance.

Fans can pre-order the Son of Sparda Edition now at GameStop, EB Games and Micromania in Europe and Australia while supplies last.

“Working closely with Capcom, we incorporated feedback from the GameStop community to create the exclusive Son of Sparda Edition,” stated Mike Mauler, EVP of GameStop international. “This will be the must-have edition of Dante’s long-awaited reboot when it hits stores in January.”

The Son of Sparda Edition includes the DmC Devil May Cry game, Dante’s necklace and the Samurai Pack DLC that allows players to transform Dante’s shotgun, scythe and axe into samurai devastators. Players also get free upgrade points to instantly upgrade weapons and combos or to purchase items from the beginning of the game.

“We’re thrilled to partner with GameStop to offer this exclusive edition to DmC fans,” said David Reeves, chief operating officer, EMEA at Capcom. “Our collaboration delivers exciting content and exclusive add-ons to GameStop’s enthusiastic customers who are anxiously awaiting DmC Devil May Cry.”

DmC Devil May Cry for PC will be compatible with both keyboard and mouse, Xbox 360 controller and all third party direct input controllers. Players will be able to enjoy the game at 60 fps or even higher with no maximum limitation, creating a spectacular visual experience for PC gamers.

Gamers that download DmC Devil May Cry via Steam will be able to take full advantage of features such as Cloud saving, achievements, friends support and leaderboards.
