'Fez' (XBLA) Gets New Release Date

by Rainier on March 29, 2012 @ 2:05 a.m. PDT

Fez is a platforming game that uses 2-D/3-D perspective shifts and optical illusions to drive gameplay. Gomez is a 2-D man on a voyage of discovery into the mysterious third dimension.

The game was originally scheduled for release in 2010, while earlier this year Polytron lead designer Phil Fish revealed that Fez is getting delayed until 2012, citing debug, details, certification, waiting for certification, and Microsoft's release buffer as some of the reasons. At long last, Fez now has a pinned down release date, and will cost 800 Microsoft points.
