With the world above ground abandoned, dark and burnt to hellfire, humans are forced into hiding to protect what remains of their race while making plans to take back a world that was once theirs. In the game, mankind escapes to the underground system under the sprawling metropolis of London. Prepare for a struggle for survival in a world that has become hell.

Players are invited to return to Hellgate this June to fight for the survival of the human race. Join a party online to fight against evil with a team or play solo if you’re brave enough. Choose your character from six different unique class types and prepare for battle against creatures from hell. Arm yourself with a wide variety of weapons and armor and dismantle the ones you don’t need to obtain rare scrap metals. Enhance your weapons with upgrades and relics to have the best chance of survival.

The new and enhanced Hellgate, formerly known as Hellgate: London and including the Hellgate: Tokyo expansion, will reopen its gates to players who crave life and death encounters. Available in both third person and first person perspective, this dark world of futuristic demons utilizes random maps and monster inventions during gameplay. Hellgate also offers a choice for players to join other parties in multiplayer mode, or go it alone in a solo campaign - if they dare...

Transmogrification will be an essential part of your playing days this month as successful combiners will find out that there are more rewards to be had than just their new weapon. Player versus Player (PVP) addicts will also experience a one of a kind challenge that will not only test their skill but also their ability to adapt to any absurd situation. Players obsessed with every little detail will find their articulate senses a blessing with a new event that’s sure to cause a hunting craze.

But the real gift that’s sure to incite a worldwide frenzy and will forever change the Hellgate universe is that Act 3 Entrance and Tokyo Tickets will now be given to all players for free, starting this July. Previously, the tickets to access these areas were bought using Tcoins at the cash shop, but as a way of giving back to the tremendous support that the game has received throughout the year, they will now be accessible to everyone through an in-game NPC named “Genie” at Greenwich Headquarters. With these new and more dangerous lairs now opened, players can now relish the Hellgate experience in its chaotic entirety.

Here at Hellgate Global, the mission to eradicate the minions of Hell might be painstakingly tough, but the events unfailingly bring a smile to weary faces.

• Transmogrification Lottery – Using the Transmogrifying Cube to combine weapons and forming new ones has never been this rewarding. Simply use the cube during the event period and give yourself a chance to win some wicked prizes. What’s even better is if you succeed in making that new weapon, you’ll be eligible to win even better prizes. 
  A Match Made in HELL – PVP specialists will have their skills tested to the limit this July. Gladiators who take part in this epic showdown will not only have to deal with his combatant but also a participating GM who can do as he wishes in the arena. To cap off the madness, random monsters will spawn in the arena to cause even more mayhem. Those who survive this brutal spectacle though will be immensely rewarded.
• A Hunt to Remember – Use those keen eyes and sharp minds to make you rich. Specific items will be posted on the Hellgate forum and it’s up to you to find an identical item in game. Match it correctly and sell it on the Marketplace where our GMs can randomly buy it for a preannounced price. To top it off, 5 participants will not only reap monetary rewards but also add an impressive piece to their weaponry.
• Anniversary Tickets – A whole new world has just opened up. All players can now access all acts beyond Act 2 of Hellgate without having to purchase them with Tcoins. All new    enemies and breathtaking environments await a new generation of players willing to brave the savage landscape caused by the forces of evil. Pick up your weapons and steel those nerves as the fight for man’s survival only gets tougher and more dangerous from here on out.
