Square Enix announced that beta testing for the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will start the same day as the console’s release date in Japan on February 22nd, 2014.
The official service start date for the PS4 version is scheduled for April 2014.
As part of the 11th installment of Producer Letter LIVE, Naoki Yoshida (producer/director) will demonstrate the new PS4 version at 4:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Saturday, December 14th, 2013. Other featured highlights will include content from the major Patch 2.1 update, scheduled to be released on Tuesday, December 17th: “The Wolves’ Den,” “Treasure Hunting,” and “Daily Beast Tribe Quests.”
