Dungeon Defenders II is here.

Get ready for more heroes, more towers and more loot. The cooperative mode is in pre-alpha and shaping up to be something really special. New features like an expanded story and a 24-player overworld are also in the works.

But wait, there’s more?

Well, first Dungeon Defenders II has a new competitive mode and… it’s in closed beta as of today.

The competitive mode is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena set in the Dungeon Defenders universe. Together, 5 players will take up arms to defend their towers against the opposing team. This fast-paced, streamlined MOBA aims for a shorter learning curve and more rpg-esque take on the genre.

There’s some other things like playverse, cross-platform play and all that jazz.

Dungeon Defenders II will be FREE, free-to-play not be pay to win.

Yes, you can play it at PAX East. And yes, you can sign up to join the waiting list for a beta key.
